James qualified in 1976. He has had a lifelong abiding interest in horses. He’s been a senior vet at the Horse of the Year Show for 15 years and for the British Open Championships in Sheffield.
Michael David, BVetMed MRCVS (Partner)
Michael qualified in 1973 and has been here ever since. His interests are equine and farm animal work. His family has ponies, dogs, cats, guinea pigs and giant snails, and he plays golf.
Claire Booth, BVM&S CertEP MRCVS
Claire qualified from Edinburgh in 2002 and joined us in 2004. She gained her Certificate in Equine Practice in 2008. She is a keen sailor in her spare time, and has a black labrador called Poppy.
Heidi Short - Large Animal Secretary
Heidi joined the practice as secretary to the equine and farm department in August 2007. She has a cat called Norman, a yellow Labrador named Benson and a retired horse called Moon Warrior.
