Vaccination

Dogs, cats and rabbits all require annual vaccination to protect them against a number of serious and potentially fatal diseases. Puppies can begin their initial course from 8 weeks of age and kittens from 9 weeks. Rabbits can start as early as 6 weeks. We offer a free postal reminder system to help you keep your pets protected.

Identichips

We strongly recommend that all pets be microchipped. This involves inserting a chip the size of a grain of rice under the skin. In puppies this may be done at 10-12 weeks of age and most kittens are done at 6 months when under anaesthesia for neutering. The number is registered with a central computer so that your pet can be returned to you no matter where it ends up.
